Pera Swarm
Pera-swarm is a project initiated by the Department of Computer Engineering in 2018, focused on developing a Swarm of Robots with a remotely accessible testbed, which allows users to remotely connect to the Robot Testbed and execute experiments remotely.
As for now, the project comes up with several milestones, including
- 10 general-purpose Swarm Robots
- A novel Framework that supports mixed reality for the swarm robotics experiments
- A high-level programming framework for Swarm Behavior Modeling and programming
- Remotely configurable obstacle setup with ObstacleBots
And we are looking for volunteers and researchers to expand the robot swarm with more hardware robots with newer functionalities and software-based solutions to address the Swarm Robotics related problems.
For the details, feel free to contact Dr. Isuru Nawinne and Prof. Roshan Ragel.
